Our People

To Liomont, people are its greatest asset.

Liomont provides employment for about 1,500 people, of which half are medical representatives working for health.

Liomont is interested in forming and maintaining a solid team work. In addition to the business activity, the company has a social mission: to create new jobs, but most train and develop their people to improve their quality of life.

Our Facilities

After 75 years of its founding, Liomont has one of the most modern pharmaceutical plants in Latin America, source of employment for about 1,500 people and a production capacity of over 120 million units per year.

In 2012 it was endorsed in their production processes by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), which monitors the development of medicines in the European Union and the Food & Drug Administration (FDA), its counterpart in the United States, a situation that opens the door for new and larger markets.

The constant reinvestment of profits has enabled the purchase of equipment and machinery of first level. With this, it has managed to manufacture drugs under the strictest quality standards, backed up by an ambitious program of research and development and training for all its staff.

Our History

In 1938, Mr. Martin Lewinberg a German Chemist, founded Liomont Laboratories with a mission: “To develop, produce and market drugs to help heal human pain.”

Today, Liomont has become one of the most important leaders in a wide range of pharmaceutical products of high quality for both the prescription market and over the counter and whose success is based on committed excellence, in social responsability and on its policy to offer quality drugs at an affordable price.

75 years of its foundation, Liomont currently has one of the most modern pharmaceutical plants in Latin America and it is a source of employment for over 1,500 persons, with a production capacity of over 120 million units per year.

Opening of the Cuajimalpa Plant, D.F.

Located in Adolfo López Mateos, in the center of the Cuajimalpa delegation, this plant has the most advanced production equipment for the production of the wide portafolio selection in two lines of products for the treatment of human health.
